The Augusta Bar Association presented a check for $10,724.97 to SafeHomes on January 19, 2012. The funds were raised throughout 2011 by the bar association. The Augusta Bar Association is actively involved in the community and public service activities throughout the year. With its Raising the Bar Campaign, the Association focuses its efforts on a particular charity throughout each year, both through fundraising and volunteerism. Members are encouraged to Raise the Bar by offering their time and other resources to the selected charity. The charity chosen is typically one that may not have the broad recognition and tremendous financial backing of our community.

The Executive Committee of the Augusta Bar Association designated SafeHomes as the Raising the Bar Campaign charity for 2011. he Augusta Bar Association was proud to partner with this excellent organization as it works toward this worthy cause.
With the Raising the Bar Campaign, the Augusta Bar focused on SafeHomes in its fundraising and volunteer efforts throughout the year. Members of the Augusta Bar were encouraged to offer their time and other resources to this organization.
